I have decided to run for Liverpool Mayor because I could not sit by and watch career politicians continue bleeding this city dry and allow the State Government to take advantage of us by forcing overdevelopment on us.

Together, we will put Liverpool First and return power to the ratepayers. The Liberal Mayor and his cartel is once again destroying our city.

We are a city where crime is rampant like never before, overdevelopment is making our roads congested and hospital emergency room full, and the local economy is in a recession. Our populist movement to Make Liverpool Great Again is the only one that will lead our city back to safety and prosperity. I will never stop fighting for you, the ratepayers, against the failed political establishment. I take the slings and arrows for you so that we can have our city back. Together, we will finish the job of saving our city once and for all.

My Policies and Commitments - I will...

Fight Against Overdevelopment

  • Overdevelopment leads to traffic problems

  • Overdevelopment means overcrowdedhospital emergency rooms.

  • Overdevelopment means overcrowding inclassrooms where your children get a second classeducation.

  • Overdevelopment means smaller streets.

  •  Overdevelopment means smaller backyardsand less parks.

  • Overdevelopment means your property valuesare not increasing like other areas.

  • I will introduce a special levy on developers that willgo towards exclusively in increasing the capacity ofthe emergency department of Liverpool Hospital.

  • This means no more 6 hour waiting times, putting the lives of our residents at risk due to overdevelopment

Stop the sell-off of Council land todevelopers and gambling clubs

  • Liberal mayor wants to sell Council land toMoorebank Sports Club but won’t tell us the price. Can Moorebank Sports Club be trusted with Council land when it was fined over $300,000 for putting its staff under pressure to encourage Liverpoolratepayers to spend more than they had intended onpoker machines?

  • The Liberals want to sell our parks to developers.Families need open space to develop and helpencourage a healthier lifestyle.

  • Rather than sell Council property, I will reinvest andupgrade existing facilities. Once you sell Councilland, we can never get it back.

  • • Council needs diverse income streams in order to

  • reduce the reliance on rates which leads to cost

  • of living pressures on local residents with rates

  • increasing at a far greater rate than average wages.

Invest more in roads, parks andcleaner streets. Is your street getting its fair share?

  • The Liberal mayor has employed his Liberal friendscosting the rate payers over $4.7 million every year.That money should go into roads.

  • Liverpool ratepayers pay one of the highest ratesand is looking at a historic deficit of $30m this yearunder the Liberal mayor.

  • The Liberal mayor is not fit to manage a councilbudget of $250 million when he can’t manage hisown affairs as his own company was placed intoliquidation for not paying its taxes.

  • The Liberal Mayor has just fired the CEO. That’s11 CEOs under his tenure costing ratepayers nearly$5 million which could’ve been put into better roads.

  • The current Mayor has put the community into a$200m debt on a new Council building just so he canhave a new office. This building is starting to collapseand that money should’ve been invested in our roads.

  • I will cut through this waste so there is more moneyfor roads, parks, and cleaner streets.

  • I will undertake a historic investment in roads toreduce the current 3 hour commute to and from

  • work which is unacceptable.
